Dr. Lisa Karla  is a native of Brooklyn, New York.  She has a wide-range of experience in Behavioral Health that spans well over a decade! Her therapeutic approach is often Integrative.  She prefers Psychodynamic and Christian Cognitive Behavioral therapies. 

 

She has worked in psychiatric inpatient facilities, outpatient counseling for substance and drug abuse (including conducting court-mandated substance abuse assessments), vocational rehabilitation, psychosocial clubhouse, senior rehabilitation and has done bedside counseling in every inpatient medical department of one of Georgia’s legacy hospitals.

She has also maintained a private practice for 7 years counseling adults and couples, through a Christian worldview.  She also enjoys teaching, pets, fine arts, illustrating and writing!
